Subject:     Adjusted MTC Training (COVID-19 Precautions)

Dear Missionary,

Congratulations on your call to serve as a full-time missionary. As announced by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, all missionaries will participate in an online MTC experience until risks associated with COVID-19 subside. This training will take place through videoconference technology in your home or another suitable location.

Online training will begin on your originally scheduled MTC start date unless you are specifically notified otherwise. You will learn together with a district of up to eight missionaries and two assigned teachers. You will participate in online instruction with your district for up to six hours per day. You will have an assigned companion in your district with whom you will participate in online companion study and practice for one hour each day. You will also be assigned to conduct one hour of personal study each day and to complete practice assignments throughout the day. 

You will receive an email with additional instructions three weeks prior to your scheduled start date. In the meantime, answers to most general questions related to online training can be found here:  Online MTC Training: Frequently Asked Questions

My Mission Papers

This is my mission call signed by our beloved

Prophet Russel M Nelson.

I know that this is where I need to be going

and can't wait to serve the people of South Carolina.

Peyton has received a new Mission President since

the Morrisons can't arrive from Ghana because of Covid.

My Mission Call

I waited for 6 weeks for my mission call. There

has been a lot going on in the world due to the 

Corona Virus, COVID-19 pandemic

so patience is something I had to learn.

April 28th I got the txt message letting me know my mission

call had arrived and I could view it.

I took my phone to my boss Travis Shupe for him to print 

it off and keep track of it until 7pm when I would open it 

in front of family and friends.

I am so thankful for be CALLED TO SERVE in the 

South Carolina Columbia Mission.

I depart to the Provo MTC on August 26th 2020.
